Class Descriptions
Ages : 1½ to 3 years old
Kindermusik Our Time™ is designed for children 1½ years to 3 years of age. Along with an accompanying parent or caregiver, children meet weekly for a 60-minute class and enjoy singing, moving, listening and interacting socially, and playing simple instruments. Exploration Time encourages a child's discovery of specially designed instruments, textures, sounds and movements; language skills are fostered with singing, sound imitation, and vocal play; Music & Movement Story Time encourages emergent literacy skills; and creative dancing affirms a child's urge to move. Standard tuition per semester: P9,750 per child with parent, for 15 weekly 45-minute sessions
This year's themes: "Wiggles & Giggles" and "Away We Go!"
In "Wiggles & Giggles", we'll share songs, dances, and different instruments to create unique music activities, designed to reflect the importance of movement in the life of a toddler. The double-CD set in your At Home Materials features 50 songs, sounds, and recordings of favorite activities from class, plus you'll receive two story books to develop early literacy skills, and a family activity book to extend the learning fun throughout the week at home. Also included is a specially-made zigzag block instrument to develop rhythm and hand-eye coordination.
"Away We Go!" guides Parent and Child to explore the exciting world of things that go! Singing, dancing and developmentally appropriate activities lead this transportation adventure to the discovery of trains, cars, buses, horses, wagons, airplanes and boats. The double-CD set in your At Home Materials features approximately 50 songs, sounds, and recordings of favorite activities from class, plus you'll receive two story books to develop early literacy skills, and a family activity book to extend the learning fun throughout the week at home. Also included are two harmonicas designed for both toddlers and parents to enjoy.
